Lazy me...

I got home to an empty house last night (except for the cat...), and decided not to do much of anything. I pretty much vegged on the couch watching re-runs of CSI (Vegas) on Spike until I fell asleep. Mike called about 7:40pm to let me know they were about 20 minutes from his mom's house, and Kol called me to chat for a few minutes 'cause he knew I was alone (which translates to lonely no matter how much I should enjoy a few days off), but otherwise it was just me with my leftover salad from lunch and the cat.

To answer your question, Dawne, I watch them all... CSI (Vegas), CSI Miami, CSI NY, Bones, Criminal Minds, and I even watched part of a Women's Murder Club episode - finally. I also DVR Scrapbook Memories and Supernatural. The problem I have is most of those need to be watched while the kids are asleep as they are starting to call my shows people killer shows...

Diane, more than happy to help if you'd like some QPs just let me know! I'd probably stick to Heather's kits as I know you have those so it shouldn't break any copyright/TOU issues...

Pamela asked if I'd show my calendar in it's entirety so here you go:













I bound it using a binding system we have at work. I just had to buy the binding combs. The package I got was 100 combs for $9 so I have plenty left for other projects/next year's calendars, etc.! This also allows the pages to hang flat against a wall. OH! And, I used my crop-a-dile to punch the "hanging" hole in them as well... all 13 pages (per calendar) of cardstock at once! :D

I conked out at about 9pm last night so I got up this morning, and watched my Criminal Minds and CSI NY. Anybody else worried for Garcia??? (And, wishing they hadn't seen something like that coming from the beginning of the episode...)

Anywho - the only thing I've gotten done this morning besides watch tv is getting those calendar comps created and uploaded. Now I need to get off so I can cash my check before work. For those who are wondering the appts yesterday went fairly well, and the financial crap should be straightened out by the end of Dec at the latest.

Oh, well! I've been up since 4am again. That's what I get for actually trying to sleep in my bed instead of on the sofa... My bed bothers my back so that I normally am either wide awake by 4am due to pain, or have to move down to the sofa by 4am anyway to finish sleeping.

I think we need a few more online stores with similar names - don't you?!?! LOL At this point I really can't even remember where all I am registered! I'm fairly sure several of the stores have my NFCU email address which is no longer valid...

Oh! In case anyone needs it, and didn't notice - I added a jpeg version of my TOU for freebies at the top left. Feel free to snag if needed because I don't think any of my Word Art freebies had TOU included... I try to keep my TOU to jpeg or Notepad as anyone with a pc can open those. :) I personally don't have Word atm so I know it can be a nuisance to have a file you can't open easily.

Busy, busy, busy

Ok... so 4 hrs later...

I did manage to finish November and December last night, but my printer is very unhappy with me. It is not meant for large-scale print jobs, and I've asked it to print over 60 pages in the last 24 hrs... I also created 1 base LO for the opposing pages, and changed the background paper to coordinate with each month. I didn't even manage to get 1 full calendar printed for binding today which means I'll need to try to get them all printed tonight, and have Miek wait the 10 minutes for me to bind them tommorrow.

Mike ended up having a mandatory meeting at 7:30pm for work last night... So he was at work yesterday from about 4:30am 'til 8:35pm... Which means he didn't get home 'til just after 9pm. And, then left the house by 4am again...

Do you think I'm a little stressed and annoyed atm?!?! LOL

Anywho - I can share the previews of Nov & Dec, but the notepad doc for credits is at home. I'll have to try to remember to add the credits later!

Monday Rush...

This will be late getting posted as it is all ready 8:50am, and I still have to shower & get out the door. So,... I'm adding links, and waiting 'til a break at work to do the rest! LOL

I decided not to post yesterday 'cause I had a LOT to do, and creating my full post normally takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on the number of LOs to insert etc. Besides Sundays have been pretty lonely lately! :D

I won a full kit from Scrapbook Elements yesterday via DST! I got the full Thrift Shop - Hand Me Downs kit for being one of the first two to post why I loved it. It's a gorgeous kit, and the elements are so varied I should be able to use it for many different types of pages!

I also got my email for the SBB NDSD QP Album this morning... 101 pages and 1.9Gb fully downloaded!!! Wow, there was a huge response to that challenge! LOL Oh, and the best part... hope DH doesn't see this... the price? $1000.00!!! LOL Not something anyone is going to purchase if they didn't manage to participate!!! As long as you participated you should receive an email with a completely unique coupon code to get it for $0 or $5 if you want/need it burned to DVD and mailed.

I got 4 pages done yesterday, and 2 this morning... I have 2 more calendar pages I need to finish and print tonight. I also have to stop at Staples on the way home tonight to get binding combs because 4 of these need to go to LI with Mike on Wednesday...

Friday's Question of the Week...

Do you doodle?? LOL Honestly, do you use doodles? If so, do you make your own or only use others' doodle designs? If you make your own - do you doodle on paper and scan or do you create them electronically with a pen or mouse and a graphics program?

I love doodles. I've tried my hand at creating them electronically, but since I only have a mouse at home they end up looking a little odd. I have used some of them though! :) I also use a LOT of doodles from designers. I haven't actually tried the paper and scan method yet, but I'm strongly thinking about it!

So after yesterday I have to wonder... Where did everybody go?? Diane's on vacation, but I see she did stop by later on last night. (Thanks, hon!!) Everyone else seemed to disappear yesterday... I was SOOO lonely in digi-world! The person below me on DST's Blog Train edited her post to say that she'd tried to post to several blogs, but they didn't allow anon comments... not that she posts anon... WHATEVER!!! If you don't post anon then WHY was it a problem??? I realize Blogger won't let you post a comment if you don't have a gmail account - not that it takes long to set one up. BUT, I've also had a couple of ladies who couldn't post for that very reason send me a PM at DST to let me know they HAD visited the blog.

But, enough of that...

I had 2 more CT kits come through last night, and am waiting on the papers for 2 more which I should be getting tonight due to some technical difficulties. I also sat down yesterday and catalogued the actual challenges I need/want to complete for Nov... 1 for Little Dreamer Blog, 10 for DSO (3 of my regular challenges have been retired due to designers moving on or being on hiatus), 2 for Andrea at JFTSOI (I'll need to register there as well! LOL), and 6 at DSG. If Ican manage to complete all of those it will be 21 challenges completed for the month -don't hold your breath though!! LOL

1 of the Challenges for DSO is completed with a LO I did earlier this week, and I finished a LO for the Quote Challenge this morning usingPamela's Fal Kit.

Dreary Monday...

It's another rainy, drizzly day here. Still trying to get used to the new times... I was completely zonked at 8:30pm last night... I did finish a LO for Diane's Lyric Challenge (using Connie Prince's newest kit, Sweet Potato Pie... nothing like killing 2 birds with 1 stone! :) ) I also finished a LO for Julie's Evening Retreat Kit last night.

This morning I did 1 LARGE load of dishes (It's amazing how many dishes 1 small household can dirty in under 12hrs!), created 1 LO, got the kids breakfast, and packed my lunch and snack. Now I need to go take a shower & get out the door!

I'm not a homebody... never have been. And, yet, when Mom decided to start a 4-H Chapter using my sister, brother, and I she signed me up for sewing, cooking, and - my only choice - arts & crafts. Thank heaven it only lasted 1 year... I take pride in anything I do though so I only got 1st and 2nd place ribbons on any of my fair entries. Those entries included: a sewn apron, a sewing kit, a macrame plant hanger, and blueberry muffins. My macrame plant hanger even went to State Fair! At 8 years old I had a red ribbon from a State Fair!!

I've also got 1 load of laundry washed (now drying), dishes done, garbage together & outside, all of the NDSD goodies I downloaded at work yesterday copied onto my EHD, and a batch of zero-point vegetable soup in the crockpot for tomorrow. While I was cutting/cleaning veggies for the soup I cleaned all of the carrots, broccoli, and green peppers so the kids have some healthy snacks for the rest of the week. My kids LOVE broccoli -cooked or raw; breakfast, lunch, or dinner...

I still need to complete Diane's Lyric Challenge at OAKS and add 4 new galleries to my link list. Not that I'll be uploading to them all regularly, but it also helps me keep track of what sites I'm registered at! LOL (BTW - I had to register at OAKS and SBB to complete these challenges! :P ) And, none of my daily downloads were up for today yet when I checked this morning... So, I'm off to get some more LOs done! :)

I have absolutely NO photos from the mall Trick or Treating which annoys me to no end because the kids changed their costumes before heading out to the few houses we hit here in Philly (That is the costume Grandma made him in the pics!), I took mine off, and Mike didn't go out with us here - he stayed home to take a shower instead. There was a mom here in town that was dressed in an inflatable pig costume which completely freaked Brenden out. He kept looking over his shoulder to make sure the pig wasn't behind us!

Micaila refused to say anything the whole time we were at the mall, but really got into it once we were home. She even had a great time handing out candy to the few people who stopped at our door in her Barbie PJs!
