I spent over an hour yesterday trying to find 1 picture online... just 1 picture! You wouldn't think it would be that hard to find Tommy Lee in his leather thong since he wore it so much during the '89-'92 period... LOL
I ended up not having time to post yesterday becase of my search which ended in me settling for a newer pic of him in leather short-shorts... Hope it was worth the effort!

I spent an hour this morning trying to find theright photo of Tommy Lee, and finally settled for this one...
For my 14th birthday Dad got me several magazines I'd asked for including Metal Edge and Hit Parader. There were several posters of Motley Crue in each magazine as they were on tour.
It was probably two months later that I was looking at the posters on my friend's wall, and wondering why it looked odd to me... It wasn't until I got home, and took a closer look at my posters that I realized Dad had taken a black marker to Tommy's legs!
In every picture he had been wearing a black leather thong - sometimes with spikes and sometimes plain - and in every picture he now had black "pants"!

YAAAWWWWWNNNNNN...
Mornin' all! Well I was a slouch last night, and didn't do any scrapping. I was too busy posting over at Scrapper's Daily Dose...
I'm the newest member of their Digi Bytes CT!!! Starting in September I will be working with them to help promote the monthly digital sponsors! This should be awesome! It's my first site CT so I'm pretty excited! There is a very friendly bunch of paper and digital scrappers so use the link at the right to hop over and say hi!
Brenden decided he was a rainbow leopard last night, and used the markers to show us all... Of course, this is one week after me getting home to what looked like a smurf for a son. He'd taken a blue marker (we didn't know he had) and colored about 60% of his body while Daddy was destracted... and the wall...and the window... and a cake pan... I'll try to post a picture tomorrow of his leopard work.
Micaila's very busy drawing family portraits with crayons this morning, and numbering us all. She's very good with 1-4. (Which is the number of people in our family anyway.) 5 ends up looking more like 2, and 6 is backwards... (5 & 6 are in orange)
(The crayon bled through the scans a little as she drew these on the front and back of the same paper...)
On Friday the kids will be heading to Malone with Grampy to visit Great Aunt Dorothy & Great Aunt Pheobe for the day. They'll be meeting the newest addition to the family - Dorothy's new granddaughter. Hopefully I'll get lots of pics from Dad to scrap!
Mom, Nora, Mark & the kids should be getting home any minute now from visiting Blayne, Marcy, and Jaylin in VA for a week so hopefully I'll have a new crop of photos from that visit as well!
Here's the 1 LO I got done before work yesterday for Cyndi's CT:

I'm getting published!
OMG, OMG, OMG! I'm so excited! I got a PM last night from Stacey Kluczny, one of the 3S Senior Partners, asking to use my Adore LO in their Sept ezine to illustrate the use of doodles! Whoo-hoo! I have never been "published" anywhere before! It's not paper so I can't hold it in my hands, but I plan to get an electronic copy to save to CD! For those who don't know Adore isthe LO on the right in my blog header. For a better look you can click on any of my gallery links to the right! :D
With all the excitement of that request, and the work of resizing and trying to GET the LO to Stacey I only managed to get 1 LO done last night. I'm on dial-up, and 4 email attempts to send the file all failed due to the smtp server. I finally had to upload it to my 4shared account, and email her the link just to get it through. We're talking about a 1.74 Mb file here btw -not huge... I really need to get broadband. So, anyway, 1 LO last night - which I know most people would be very happy about getting 1 LO done, but the truth is I all ready had plans for a 2nd and possibly a 3rd LO last night so 1 doesn't cut it for me! LOL
On that note I am going to cut this short this morning so I can go try to get at least the 1 LO done before work! :)

YIKES!!!
I'm at the point in my life where showers are things either snuck in before kids wake, or only done when another adult is in the house to watch the kids... More often than not I try to sneak them in while the kids are still sleeping in the morning since I'm (normally) awake at least a half hour before them.
So, I took my shower this morning, and left the bathroom door cracked slightly open so I'd be able to hear the kids if they woke up. As I am standing in the bathroom trying to dry off the door suddenly flies open, and there is Brenden! Scared the living daylights out of me as he'd not made one single sound... But, wait! It gets better... After acknowledging him I turned back to drying off, and as I reach for my robe I hear, "Mommy, you need panties!" ROFL Good grief, but this kid cracks me up sometimes! (Of course, that's not when he's decided to tear the ENTIRE screen out of his sister's window... which he did last night.)
Not much else to say this morning, but I'll leave you with the 3 LOs I completed yesterday.

This is Micaila & Brenden having fun with their "cousin" at our family reunion. There was a challenge to scrap something from this summer on GS, and one of the paper scrappers was noting that she very rarely sees a digi-page with more than one photo on it so I did this one! :D

Yeah! Another of my creations...
is being offered as a freebie by Pamela! I created a September Desktop QP for your pc using her School Kit - Parts 1, 2, & 3 also currently available as freebies on her blog - and she's putting it up today! All papers by Pamela and calendar by me using Candara font. Stop by to snag it, and leave some love: http://princesspamela.typepad.com/ This is actually the 2nd version 'cause I had a brain fart on the 1st version, and used another designer's calendar. DOH! But, I like this version better anyway! :D
I learned something new this morning! I've learned how to create alphas to match any kit I'm using in PS! It was a great tutorial over at Everyday Digital Scrapbooking. I tried to adapt it to PSP, but didn't have much luck. :( I'll have to keep trying in PSP, and post a tutorial when I figure it out! ;)
I only finished 1 other LO last night. I need to go work on my to do list for the day. Only having 1 day off work a week is a killer sometimes...

Another shiny morning!
We had thunderstorms on and off all night which makes for restless sleeping, but the sun is coming out now. Maybe it will decide to stay for awhile... I'm past sick of the constant dreary, cloudy thing we've had going on for the last couple of weeks.
I just watched the cat catch & eat a spider. I swear she is such a dumbbutt. She won't touch a mouse, but put an insect in her line of sight...
I'm hoping to get or two LOs done before I leave for work this morning. I'd like to cap off 1 or 2 kits for my CTs as I have a large new one coming from KT! It's supposed to be country-themed and huge so I should have some fun playing with it! I may even create some QPs for her as the ones I made for Pamela were such big hits!
Not much else to say right now so I'll leave you with the 3 LOs I completed last night. :)

Random Ramblings...
LOL Well, another restless night. I had so many things to type in here at 5:30am that I had trouble getting back to sleep, and darned if I can remember them now!
Brenden woke me up a couple of times last night crying - in his sleep. The ragged, desperate crying he normally reserves for when he gets into trouble - only this time he wasn't even awake. When I got to him both kids were sleeping UNDER his bed! I had to straddle the bed to get him out from under it in order to comfort him back to sleep...
And, then there's Micaila... who decided 6am was a GREAT time to wake up! My kids don't normally wake up 'til sometime between 7:30am and 8:30am so this was not a welcome change especially as I didn't go to sleep until 11:30pm last night. Anyway, I'm off now to try to get all my morning items checked off the to do list before I leave for work. No boss again today! YEAH!!
Here area couple of photos Dad caught while at the zoo with the kids on Monday...
