Wish we lived closer to Watertown (sometimes). I'm sure they'll be having fireworks again this year, and it would have been nice to get some photos, but I'm not driving back into town tonight just for fireworks in the snow... LOL
I managed to get 3 LOs done yesterday, and 1 this morning AND uploaded all missing images to galleries this morning as well, so that all of my CT work for December should be wrapped up. 1 LO even completed 2 more challenges. If I get a chance after I get home I may try to complete a few more challenges. I get out of work at 2pm today, and get tomorrow off! I'm hoping to get a great start to all those January challenges. (Hint-hint... They need to be posted for me to do that! LOL)

Pics!
Here are some of mine from Christmas day...
Brenden loved his Littlest Pet Shop toys!
He was also fairly excited by his workbooks with various Disney and Scooby characters!
Micaila was VERY happy with Brenden's choice of a Kitties In My Pocket set for her!
Brenden with his sister's new toy camera. He seems to think the lens should point at him! LOL
My sister's kids... Yes, that is my 13-yr-old niece standing in front of an 8 foot tree... Enough said?
Brenden decided the turkey leg had been left on the table long enough...
This was supposed to be 3 generations of women, but Brenden just HAD to be in it! LOL
Krys blowing out her birthday candles.
I have more, but didn't realize I hadn't downloaded them from my camera yet! LOL I also need to get copies of Dad's so there may be more next week!

Freedom Friday!
As I type the lawyer should be filing our bankruptcy. We should finally be out from under the rather large debt incurred during my 8 months (and Mike's approx 6 months) out of work when we moved back upstate by noon. Please don't think I'm happy we've filed, because I'm not. This is not somewhere I wanted to be in life, but it is a relief to have it off my back. Going forward I should be able to pay all our monthly bills without juggling to see who will get paid this month and next...
I think this (and a lack of sleep which has become the norm for me) is probably a large part of why my mojo is taking a hiatus this month. I've got 3 days left to Dec, and about 26 challenges & 4 CT LOs I haven't completed... Let's see how much I can get done in the next 3 days... LOL
I have 1 guest CT spot lined up for January, and don't plan to seek out any more unless there is something I just can't refuse. With my mojo hiding I don't want to make promises I can't keep... But, I do plan to look for February guest spots!
Gotta' get workin' before the boss catches me!

Feels like Monday again!
It's Thursday... I've been off work since 1:45pm on Monday though so it feels like I had a real weekend! LOL Due to snow Gary & I were the only two at work on Monday so he let me leave 15 minutes early. The roads were horrible on the way in, but were better by the time I was heading home.
--------------
My sister's family and my parents ended up at my house on Tuesday. Makes for a very full house as Nora has 4 kids - 3 of which are boys. We had a good time though. Nora brought over a cake for Krysti so we didn't have to try to do that. (Krys is a Christmas baby.)
I managed to finish datebook covers for Mom and Nora while everyone was at the house. We don't have enough seating for 12 in the livingroom anywho so I sat at the pc for part of the day... It is still in sight of the livingroom...

I didn't get much accomplished yesterday. I dropped off the paperwork at the lawyer's office because they weren't open on Monday. Then we went to the mall because Mike's dad got us each gift certificates to Sears... Couldn't find anything we wanted there, but at F.Y.E. I got Buffy Seasons 3 & 4 on DVD for $48! Season 3 was new & on sale for $23 while Season 4 was used for $25 (more DVDs in the set). We stopped at Super WalMart on the way home so the kids could pick out their gifts from Grandma with their gift certificates, and got caught in that computer glitch issue. Micaila chose a "normal" sized Pinky Pie & Rarity the Unicorn, and a Ponyville Pinkie Pie with tea set. Brenden chose a Hot Wheels set and 5 pack of Batman Hot Wheels cars. The GC system wasn't working for them at all yesterday so those GCs will now pickup groceries this weekend! LOL I managed to avoid trying to do any of the dishes until about 8pm when I did 1 large load. I did a second large load this morning, and still left a few pots in the sink at the end of that session...
----------------
Oh! That reminds me... I wish I knew how to upload a MP3 file onto Blogger because OMG!!! do you have to listen to the call Micaila got from Santa... Someone posted a link on DST that you could use to set up a free call from Santa. I set one up for each of the kids, and Micaila spent most of her call telling Santa off for not getting her the right gift when she was on LI. (I was not made aware that somehow "Santa" decided to come early down there and left them gifts at Thanksgiving...) Brenden ended up hanging up on Santa because the recording glitched, and he had no sound when he got on the phone.
-----------------
I did finish 1 LO this morning for a contest. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here so I'm not doing so yet. But, there is still time to enter if you want... Check out www.seascrapsdesigns.blogspot.com for details! Deadline is the 29th.

Christmas Eve!!
I'm still not feeling my normal, creative self, but I did manage to get 1 LO and 4 Datebook covers done between yesterday and this morning. I need to finish getting the garbage together, switch out the laundry (dryer to basket and washer to dryer), shower, and grab the last few pieces of paperwork for the lawyer which I need to drop off on my way to work... We have our signing appt on Friday. I have to work 'til 2pm today, and then I'm off 'til 10am on Thursday! YEAH!!!

Finally Friday...
I'm feeling a little more myself... I managed to slog through 2 LOs last night, and almost finish a third so that it got topped off this morning. The last one completes 3 DSO challenges... Also makes me feel a little better as I am getting a VERY late start to my challenge LOs this month! LOL I have a boatload of scrapping to get done in the next week and a half if I want to finish most of my challenges and all of my CT work... And, that is if I don't receive any new kits!!!

I don't know how many of you had heard about (or were interested in) the Christmas Around The World Mega Freebie Kit that was posted at approx 70 blogs, but due to the ice storms in the midwest they extended the download deadline to the 24th. So if you were at all interested, and haven't started I suggest you do so! I've only downloaded approx half of it, and all ready have got over 2Gb!!! I woke up this morning to a great surprise though... I got RAK'd by KimB and her CT!! A whole kit as a Christmas thank you for using some of her designs in my LOs!

Monday? All ready?
Ok, so I pretty much got next to nothing accomplished this weekend... I had an extra day off because Sharon worked Saturday for me as I had to work late Friday night due to the military ball. But, I woke up at 3:30am on Saturday barely able to breathe due to post nasal drip, and just as I was ready to drop off again Brenden woke up... at 4:30... So I only got to doze while he watched Scooby on DVR until Mike got up. He took the kids to "breakfast" with Santa at Stream. I went back to sleep for a while, but it didn't really help. When I did get up it felt like someone had filled the right side of my head with pudding - completely crammed. I didn't get much done Saturday as you can imagine - dishes, 1 load of laundry washed, and straightening the livingroom was about it.
Yesterday we got hit with a snowstorm. I think we only got about 1 foot here, but it went on all day. I spent about an hour outside shoveling in two shifts. I am SOOOO out of shape. Both times I came back in barely able to breathe or stand. Dad was making lunch the first time, and I dozed off instead of eating. I woke up to Mike standing over me which meant my car was parked in the street as I hadn't managed to shovel enough for him to pull in. I'd also found that we were just above 0 on the oil tank... So when I ran to get gas in the van I had to get 10 gallons of kero as well to tide us over to today. Dad wentwith me, and pumped the van while I did the kero.
I need to go get the garbage out the door, do dishes, and shovel my way out of the driveway...

Friday findings...
Oooyy! The drive home last night... We got 4-6 inches of snow while I was at work yesterday... Not fun... I think we got about 2 more inches after I got home.
Then this morning we lost power from 4:50am-6:20am ONLY ON MY STREET! How do I know this? Well, I couldn't get back to sleep after Mike left at 3:30am for work so I was up watching DVR. The power blipped out in the middle of Criminal Minds. I went to look out the window, and all the lights on Church Street were out, but Sophia (the other road as I live on a corner) were ON! Go figure...
When the power came back on my brother, Kolby caught me on IM, and then called and talked for about an hour. I was busy the whole time trying to get some CT work done, and lost track of time 'til 8:50am when my cell alarm went off. One load of laundry got into the washer, but no further, and the dishes didn't get touched. Dad didn't get to the house 'til about 9:15 so he was running late as well... And, tonight I won't be getting home 'til 8 or 8:30pm 'cause I'm working a military ball with the boss.
I have 1 LO I finished just before running out the door yesterday - literally. I had enough time to save the PSP version of the file, but nothing else. I had to re-open it this morning, save the full jpeg version and the 2 smaller jpeg versions I keep, print it, and THEN move on. LOL So I did finish a cup insert for an Xmas gift and a LO this morning...

QP kinda' day...
Not much to report... still feelin' sneezy, etc. in the mornings and evenings... I think I'm going to start taking my Claritin twice a day to see if that helps.
I completed a 5x7 brag book QP for SBB's Dec Exchange last night:
The rather large (and beautiful) free kit was available last Fri/Sat, and all QPs have to be uploaded and PM'd to Shelleyrae by tomorrow in order to recive the download links for the entire exchange set.
------------------
I also created a QP for Heather Manning this morning using her Grungy Christmas Fun Kit and Christmas Charms add-on which she will be offering on her blog shortly so watch for it! :) I used it to create this page as I ran out the door this morning which is why this post is later than the norm...

I can't stop sneezing this morning...
I don't feel sick... I took my Claritin... But, good grief the SNEEZING!!!
I've been up since 6am, but the majority of that time has been spent trying to print out credit reports... Every two or three pages my printer would pull extra paper through, and then report a non-existant "paper jam". Since 1 was 21 pages, 1 was 37 pages, and 1 was 14 pages you can probably imagine my frustration with that... Not sure if you are aware, but most states require that you be allowed to access a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months - no score - just the report. If you are looking to do this visit www.annualcreditreport.com for more info.
Mike and I have our second appointment with the bankruptcy lawyer on Wednesday so I am busy trying to get all the required info together among all the other things I do...
--------------
Garbage is ready to go to the curb... I managed to wash and dry (but not put away) two loads of laundry yesterday, and there's another load waiting to be thrown in the washer now... I did two loads of dishes yesterday, and have a small amount waiting for me now... I got stamps onto the Xmas cards yesterday (finally) so those are going postal today... I need to leave a few minutes early today as well so I can stop by the lawyer's office, and pay a deposit...

No Freebie...
Sorry folks, but kids have been needy and sleep has been scarce so I didn't manage to build another freebie this week.
I did finish these two LOs last night:

Isn't that kit gorgeous!! I think I may be using those overlays on a few other LOs soon... :)

I don't have New Year's photos because we never do anything special, but these worked GREAT for my nature photo!

Gotta' go get kids ready as they're dropping me off at work today...
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
PS - Oh! I've forgotten to mention that I had LOTW at DSO this past week! Christmas Preparations using Winter Mix by Connie Prince and ACM Designs!
AND, I just found I've gotten LOTD at DD and SDD today for February 27, 1947 using Let It Snow by Julie Kelley! !

Yeah!
I've made Gina Miller of Simply Homespun Designs' CT!!
--------------
I've spent this morning uploading LOs again so nothing to show you, but it is Friday so...
QUESTION OF THE WEEK...
What would be your dream job? And, why? Has it changed as you've grown older?
Growing up I wanted to design album covers (LPs/CDs), but in myfreshman year of college it was pointed out to me by a teacher that if I didn't know any bands it would be rather difficult to break into this...
So then I wanted to be the designer behind a Super Bowl commercial, but couldn't get a job with an ad agency because I wasn't ready to commute to Manhattan... Then I was ready to commute to Manhattan, but I'd have had to take a $10,000 pay cut to get an entry-level job in an ad agency...
At this point I would LOVE to work from home with scrapbooking. I'd like to be able to see my designs being used by other people... Of course, I need to do a LOT of brushing upon my design skills before I'll be ready for that...
---------------
I finally sat down, and started my challenge list for December... I have 15 at DSO, 6 at DSG, and 9 at PDW I'd like to get done... so far. I still need to check OAKS, and SAS.
The boss is leaving early today, and Ineed to get to work!

Sleep!!! Please!
Unlike Heather, I can't blame this on shots or the kids... I've been awake since 2am... At about 2:30 I got up to use the bathroom, and discovered we had no water... had to go into the basement to check the pipes, and then turn up the thermostat... about 10 minutes later the partially frozen line thawed again so I guess it is a good thing I was awake and caught it before it completely froze... checked email and then laid there trying to sleep... listened to Mike get up, get ready for work and leave at 4am... went into the kitchen, and found the door is so cold it WILL NOT stay closed unless the deadbolt is turned... decided I wasn't going to be able to sleep, and created 3 LOs in 2 hrs... then Brenden woke up... tried to cuddle with him thinking we'd both get back to sleep... no such luck.
I have an appointment at 9:15am for my depo shot... have to go get dressed and leave an hr early...

100 POSTS!!!
Today marks the day... I've posted 100 times so far! I've made some pretty great friends during those 3.5 months, and found lots of new sites to visit! Thanks for being part of my digi-world!
-----------------
On the homefront -we've gotten PLENTY of snow in the last 24 hrs... The boss got his birthday wish! LOL There's probably no more than 5 inches of fluffy snow out there, but I'd be happier with none. The boss skis so he's happier than a clam any time there's snow happening...

Another Monday...
Today's my boss's birthday... maybe he'll cut out of work early... probably not though. We have 1 appointment today at 11 so it would be nice if he decided to edit the four sittings that are waiting, and then go home...
-----------------------------------
I didn't get a lot of scrapping done this weekend like I normally do. I was waiting on kits from a couple of designers, and had more than I'd planned on come through - this morning... LOL I also spent several hours in town on Saturday after work trying to do some Jolly Red Guy shopping. (Still not done with that.) And, then yesterday we put up the tree - all time-consuming tasks.
I did finish these:

I need to grab a shower and get to work. We've got some icky rain going on which I assume means the drive will be tons of fun...
Thanks for stopping by, and have agreat day!

Friday's Question of the Week...
So how did your November shape up? I've managed to complete 16 of the 21 challenges I had lined up. I think I'll be able to finish 1 more tonight, but it depends on if Brenden gets to decorate the way he's been begging to do for a week! LOL
I got one LO done last night, but I wanted to cry so bad... I had this almost completely finished when PSP crashed without it being saved which meant I had to totally re-create it. The LO didn't turn out quite the way I envisioned, but I think it's still pretty neat!
